Brush your hair thoroughly. You want to make sure that you can glide the brush through your hair. You want to get rid of all of the knots and tangles. Start at the bottom of your hair and move your way up to the top of your hair. You will want to take the hair on the top of your haid (everything above where your ear line is) and section that off as you brush.
Take the heat-resistant glove and place it on the hand that you will be holding the hair with. NOT the hand that is holding the curling iron. Safety first!
Depending on how tight or how loose you want the curls to turn out, you will want to section your hair off. Start at the bottom of your hair and section off about 2 inches of hair and hold it in your fingers.

How To Curl Your Hair
Now that you have all of the hair tools that you need in order to properly curl your hair, it’s time to get to work!
1. Brush
